Lee left out of Oz Twenty20 squad
October 25th, 2010 - 11:30 am ICT by ANIMelbourne, Oct. 25 (ANI): Former Australian and New South Wales fast bowler Brett Lee has been overlooked for Australia’s squad for a Twenty20 International against Sri Lanka in Perth on Sunday.
Lee, who recently made a good comeback from a long break with an elbow injury, was overlooked despite Mitchell Johnson (rested) and Doug Bollinger (abdominal injury) not chosen in the T20 squad, Fox Sports reports.
However Peter Siddle will return to Australian colours after being out with a knee injury and Brad Haddin has recovered from an elbow injury to replace Tim Paine.
The squad is: Michael Clarke (captain); Cameron White; Brad Haddin; John Hastings; David Hussey; Clint McKay; Dirk Nannes; Stephen O’Keefe; Peter Siddle; Steve Smith; David Warner and Shane Watson. (ANI)
