London, Aug 27 (ANI): English rock band Led Zeppelin may be gearing up for a reunion tour, as they have reportedly returned to the studio for the first time in more than a quarter of a century.

Guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer John Bonham are said to be working on new material during secret sessions in London, while vocalist Robert Plant is still on tour in the US with current musical partner, country singer Alison Krauss, and his absence from the band is very obvious.

Ive been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do some new material and some writing, the Sun quoted Bonham as revealing.

I dont know what it will be, but it will be something, he said.

It would seem that the band is working towards something, as Bonham has given notice to his current employers, Foreigner, that he will no longer drum for them after September 1, which leaves open the possibilities of a reunion.

The only band member who is hesitant to return, after their smash hit comeback show at Londons O2 Arena last year, is Plant, while Page is very keen to have a show.

The possibility of doing something is on the cards, Bonham stated.

I really felt it was on the cards from the moment we walked off stage at the O2.

At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material.

Whatever it ends up as, to get a chance to jam with two people like that is a phenomenal thing for me.

When I get there, I never ask any questions, he added. (ANI)
