Oct 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The forward of Miami Heat LeBron James became the subject of angry backlash of the country after he left Cleveland Cavaliers for Miami Heat. The veteran player took to Twitter on Tuesday to show the world some of the hateful and racist messages he has been receiving. The fans of the player were shocked to see yesterday that his haters have taken the social networking site to show their anger for the player.
LeBron James took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon where he called the day as “Hater Day”. He also asked people to get their two minutes of fame by abusing him! After a while hundreds of messages poured in his profile where people called him “fraud”, “big nosed” and even racially abused him for his deed. LeBron James, however, responded to and wrote that if someone uses “extra” motivation in everything he does, then no one can stop their dreams to become a reality.
LeBron James told in one of his interviews that he is no longer affected by these messages. However, he is also said life is not a bed of roses as it seems from outside. The player said that he wanted everyone to see what kind of abuses are hurled at him and towards any other players. The messages by his haters ranged from racial slur, profanity, abusive languages and even death threats. Previously LeBron James was put under scanner by Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, who called his act cowardly. People even burned his jersey to show their hatred and disrespect after he left the team. However, LeBron James, while speaking about his Twitter messages said that he has not said anything hateful back yet as he knows how to represent his “franchise” better.
