Lebanon draw 2-2 with Kuwait in World Cup qualifier
October 12th, 2011 - 1:11 pm ICT by IANSBeirut, Oct 12 (IANS) Lebanon missed a chance of achieving victory against Kuwait after being forced to a 2-2 draw in the third game of Group B at the Asian Zone qualifications for the 2014 World Cup here.
This has been Lebanon’s third game in the third round of the qualifying stages, after they lost to South Korea 0-6 and beat the UAE 3-1, Xinhua reported.
Around 40,000 fans showed up Tuesday to support Lebanon after their surprise win over the UAE a month ago.
