Lawrence Taylor Taken Into Custody Over Rape Charges

Ramapo, May 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lawrence Taylor, former player of the National Football League has been arrested on the charges of raping a minor. Police report that he might be facing up to four years in prison if convicted of the charges. The first hearing of the case took place in a court in Ramapo. Lawrence Taylor, dressed in a blue jeans and black shirt, pleaded not guilty, and denied all the charges brought against him, as per the reports given by his lawyer, Arthur Aidala. The lawyer further commented that Lawrence Taylor would be fighting every charge that has been brought against him, and that he would be making certain that he comes out of it all unscathed. He further said that the former footballer is only being a target of scandals, just like any other celebrity.
According to reports, Lawrence Taylor had paid a pimp to bring him the 16 year old girl, with whom he had sex in a remote village called Montebello, in the Holiday Inn, Room 160. He is being accused of third degree rape, and was kept in the custody of the police after he was arrested for a night. The Town Justice, Arnold P. Etelson, released him the next day at a bail of $75,000.
Lawrence Taylor had been in the town of Ramapo in order to attend a business convention, according to Mark Lepselter, a friend and business partner of the 51 year old player. Kenneth Gribetz, an attorney for Lawrence Taylor, expressed his confidence that he would be acquitted of all charges. In fact, he also said that he expects the player to be acquitted by this Thursday itself.
