Las Vegas Locomotive Wins First UFL Football Match On Thursday Against California Redwoods

logo2Las Vegas, October 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The team of Las Vegas Locomotives recorded their first victory of UFL Football. They scored 30-17 in the match and their first win was registered against the team of California Redwoods. Dede Dorsey played well in the match and helped the team in winning the match. Two touchdown passes were thrown by J.P. Losman which also helped the team in winning.

J.P. Losman for five seasons had played with team of Buffalo Bills and is considered as a veteran player made important contribution in the match. He had completed 21 passes of the 31 for 226 yards. A touchdown pass of 1 yard was thrown by him. He threw this pass to Dorsey when there was only thirteen seconds remaining in second quarter.

On Thursday night, the Sam Boyd Stadium was crowded with 14,209 football lovers who had gathered to watch the match. Jim Fassel, the coach of the Las Vegas team was happy with the performance of his team. He said, ” Our defence stepped up to the plate big time.” According to him, the football match played between the team was good. He said the game was hard hitting and fulfilled the expectations of the spectators. Fassel also stated that they would overcome their weaknesses.

Fassel, in his speech stated, “I think guys are hungry, they’re looking forward to next.” The biggest concern of Fassel was ball security from pocket standpoint. However, his players responded well to his coaching and played excellently throughout the match. Each team in the regular season of the league will have to play six games. Las Vegas team is expected to play well in the coming matches.
