mark-hallLas Vegas, Dec. 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brigham Young University Cougars rallied from the initial stages of the game and once again won the Las Vegas Bowl by defeating the Oregon State in a much hyped game. The BYU players have prior experience of playing in the Las Vegas Bowl and fans considered them to be the favorite in the match. BYU team did not disappoint their fans and defeated the Oregon team in the Bowl match.

According to the reports of the sources, BYU Cougars made a dominating presence throughout the game and tied the final result to 44-20, and once again came out victorious in a bowl game. With the win in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl, 2009, the Cougars claimed this title for the third time in five years. Football is always a team game yet Max Hall, the starting quarterback of Cougars made a significant contribution for the team’s win in the match.

Max Hall had recorded three touchdowns and 192 yards to add the score of his team. It was his game that eased the win of his team against the Oregon State and ended their Bowl winning streak. The strong game of Cougars was not the only reason for their loss. It appeared that windy and cold weather of Las Vegas also affected the performance of the Oregon players. Oregon were already disappointed as they could not qualify for the Rose Bowl and the loss against the Cougars depressed them further. The Oregon team has some talented players but none of them could give a match winning performance against the Cougars.
