Lane Kiffin Leaves Tennessee For USC Trojans

Lane KiffinLos Angeles, Jan 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Pete Carroll’s decision to quit his job with the USC Trojans and pursue a better career in NFL team Seattle Seahawks, could have affected the USC team greatly in the coming season. However, now it appears that they would be able to retain their form, as Lane Kiffin, who is known to be a disciple of Pete Carroll, has joined the team as the replacement of the former USC coach. The 34 year old coach, Lane Kiffin had served under the guidance of Pete Carroll for five years- from 2001 to 2006 and it is expected that players would not face much difficulty to play under their new coach.

Lane Kiffin has a bright career record and is also familiar with the USC Trojans. As per the reports, he had worked as the recruiting coordinator and the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans. Therefore, fans are hopeful that he would not face much difficulty to fulfill his new responsibilities as the head coach. Mike Garrett, the athletics director of USC, expressed their high hopes for the new coach.

The team is optimistic that their coach would improve the team and help them reach a new height. While talking about the new head coach, Mike Garrett said, “He is familiar with the Trojan landscape and will be a great representative of our university”. The athletics director also appreciated the recruitment skills of Lane Kiffin. The announcement of USC Trojans to appoint Lane Kiffin as their new head coach has come as a surprise to many. However, it is a wise bet that he will be of considerable help to the team in the long run.
