Lane Kiffin Addresses Press Conference As USC Coach

Lane KiffinLos Angeles, Jan 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a much anticipated press conference that was organized Wednesday night, Lane Kiffin was formally introduced as the coach of the University of Southern California football team. Lane Kiffin had created quite a buzz on Tuesday when it came to light that the much acclaimed coach had taken the decision to leave the Tennesse football team in a bid to join the Trojans.

The news conference witnessed the 34 year old coach take questions from the media as he attempted to give explanation for his abrupt decision to quit the Volunteers as the head coach after a single season. In the press conference which was held at the Heritage Hall, Lane Kiffin was accompanied with his daughter, Pressley as he patiently answered all the questions that were thrown at him by the reporters.

Defending his decision to join South California, the former Tennessee coach emphasized that the new job provided him the opportunity to come back home to take up the job which he considered to be the best job in the nation. At the same time, the new coach of the Trojans also revealed his plans to form a group of staffs for his new team which he added would be the best staff of the country.

Meanwhile, Lane Kiffin’s sudden decision to leave the Trojans was met with wide protests from the USC students who expressed outrage at the coach’s decision to leave their team. However, speculations are running high about Lane Kiffin’s successor and the name that are presently doing the rounds are Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, Duke Coach David Cutcliffe among others.
