Seattle, Washington, Nov. 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The final match of the Major League Soccer brought disappointment for the team of Los Angeles Galaxy and David Beckham’s expectations to win the league title in three different countries remained unfulfilled. As always, Beckham had played well in the match. In spite of having bone injuries, he played the match but could not help his team score a victory in the match. The decision of the match was pending till the penalty kicks and Los Angeles Galaxy lost the final match against Real Salt Lake. It was a great disappointment for David Beckham as well as Landon Donovan.

Donovan is one of the most popular footballers of the United States and is known as one of the best penalty kicks of the country. In his career, he had taken several penalty kicks for his country as well as his team but on Sunday, he failed to score a goal on the penalty strikes of the game. He was extremely disappointed after missing the penalty, as it could have saved the team from losing the the title of the Major League Soccer. Galaxy team was considered the favorite in the final match of the league and their loss in the game was unexpected for many football lovers of the country.

Both the teams scored 1-1 goals till the extra time mark of the championship match and penalty goals were necessary to decide the winner of the match. Real Salt Lake took the advantage of the penalty goals and the final score of the match read 5-4, declaring a win for the Salt Lake team.
