025892Los Angeles, June 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It reads “38. BFD” and is printed on a blue T-shirt worn by seven times Tour De France champion Lance Armstrong.

Such is the recent cover page of “Outside” magazine which looks pretty good at first glance. However, there seems to a slight glitch. Mr. Lance Armstrong recently posted in Twitter that he never wore the T-shirt. He also said that the number and the letters on the T-shirt were all implanted and is an output of efficient use of Photoshop.

Number “38″ of course stands for his age whereas “B.F.D” “Big f—ing deal”. Well now you know why Lance Armstrong is so unhappy about it. As a matter of fact, the cover page of the magazine does mention in small fonts that the T-shirt is not a real one and that Lance Armstrong never wore the T-shirt. Lance Armstrong in his Twitter post called the whole affair to be “lame.” The cyclist also referred to the photo as “weak”.

Besides the manipulated photo which is creating a stir all over the Internet, the cover page of the magazine also puts forward a very bold and gritty question which is also the cover story caption that reads “Is this the end for Lance?” Quite evidently this is a sharp hit at Lance Armstrong’s age, his opponent and the recent allegations of Floyd Landis.

No matter what Lance Armstrong says, the recent issue of “Outside” is all destined to sell out like hot cakes from the stands. People are talking more about the manipulated cover photo of Lance Armstrong than the cover story “Why the Floyd Landis investigation is just beginning”.
