London, Sep.8 (ANI): England and Chelsea mid-fielder Frank Lampard has claimed that the transfer ban on his club can make it stronger.
The Blues cannot sign any new players until January 2011, after being punished by UEFA for the illegal poaching of youngster Gael Kakuta.
Lampard insists that Chelsea thrives on adversity.
“A lot of things have happened to me in my career with Chelsea and England and, whenever it’s backs to the wall for whatever reason, it brings a togetherness and can be used as a positive,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.
Lampard believes the whole issue of how youth players are developed should be examined across the globe. (ANI)
