After Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown, the latest player all set to join the bandwagon of Lakers star with a celebrity wife is none other than Sasha Vujacic. The Los Angeles Lakers guard is all set to tie the knot with Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova after the news of their engagement was announced on Thursday.

While talking to reporters prior to the exhibition match of the Los Angeles Lakers against the Golden State on Thursday, the 26-year-old much acclaimed player revealed that he is engaged to tennis star Maria Sharapova and both of them are really happy about the engagement. At the same time, Sasha Vujacic also went on to say that since they are engaged now, they can concentrate on other things. When asked about how he proposed to his lady love, the Los Angeles Lakers guard divulged that he had to do it in true gentlemen style on their one-year anniversary. However, Sasha Vujacic added that a wedding date has not been finalized as yet.

In the meanwhile, the news that the three-time Grand Slam champion has got engaged to Sasha Vujacic has also been validated to a reputed news sources by Maria Sharapova’s representative. The couple has been in a romantic relationship for about a year now after they meet for the first time at a friend’s barbecue.
