La Mirada, Nov. 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) CIF Southern Section South Division playoff match on Friday gave La Mirada High School team an excellent win against the Santa Ana. The fourth quarter of the game was spectacular as Matadores scored 20 points in it and won the match with a huge score difference. La Mirada played the match on their home grounds and gained huge support from their fans. However, playing on home turf was not the only factor for their win. All the players of the team executed an excellent strategy in the game and the it ended with a final score of 44-3, declaring La Mirada’s win upon the Santa Ana.

Though the offense lineup of the team have played well and helped the team register a win, Aaryn Bouzos game deserves special mention. He helped the team to equalize the lead taken by the Santa Ana during the second quarter of the match. Luis Diaz scored a field goal of 22 yards and helped Santa Ana to manage a lead in the game but Bouzos’ kickoff turned the game in favor of the La Mirada. He scored 97 yards kickoff to give his team the control of the match. After his kickoff, the offense of La Mirada progressed in an outstanding manner making it impossible for the La Mirada defense to obstruct their win.

Daniel Poncedeleon, the quarterback player of the La Mirada team also exhibited good gaming skills in the match against Santa Ana. His passes and scores eased the win. Santa Ana also could not stop the J.T.Torres and Max Gama’s offense and rushing yards and lost the match.
