London, Dec. 1 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson received a perfect birthday treat when British singer-actress Kym Marsh draped herself over him and crooned into his ears.

Garbed in a glamorous strapless black outfit, the Corrie star was all smiles as Ferguson put his arm around her and grinned, The Sun reports.

But despite appearances, Marsh - who plays Michelle Connor in the soap - was actually celebrating Eamonn Holmes’ 50th when she sang to the footie expert.

She was one of a number of stars to perform at Eamonn’s party at Old Trafford and admitted she wanted to catch Sir Alex’s eye, being a Man U fan.

Kym, who used to be in Hear’Say, belted out Fields of Gold and Son of A Preacher Man to the guests.

She turned up at the lavish bash wearing an almost identical frock to Christine Bleakley’s.

The One Show presenter appeared without new beau Frank Lampard. (ANI)
