Kyle Boller St. Louis, Sep 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kyle Boller replaced the injured Marc Bulger and tried his best in the game, but ultimately the Green Bay Packers posted a 36-17 road win.

The St. Louis Rams were continuously plagued by injuries, as Marc Bulger went down with a shoulder affliction after a sack and two other wide receivers were also injury-prone.

The Packers missed capitalizing on several crucial short field drives in the first half, settling for field goals after an interception and a fumble in the 1st quarter. The Packer had leads of 9-0 and 20-7 in the first half against the St Louis Rams.

Momentum and luck seemed to shift towards the Rams late in the 1st half. St. Louis scored on a 19-yard touchdown pass from the Californian born, back-up replacement quarterback Kyle Boller to Daniel Fells just before halftime. The Packers went three-and-out on their first two possessions of the second half, and the Rams added a 53-yard field goal to get within 6-points.

The twenty-eight year old Kyle Bryan Boller is an American football quarterback for the St. Louis Rams of National Football League. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him in the first round of the 2003 NFL. He played college football at California.
