kurtNews reports seem to suggest that Kurt Rambis is flying down to Minneapolis for a third likely meeting that is scheduled to take place between Clark Kent and the top bosses of the Wolves. This is the news that is presently making wild rounds inside the NBA circuit about the Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Rambis. It is a common knowledge now that Rambis is supposedly going to take over the reins of the Timberwolves team as their coach.

As a team, Rambis is for sure not getting any boon on his hands, however, it can be hoped that with his expertise he is able to take the team out of this present low phase and make them see glory.
It seems like Mychal Thompson, the former Gopher’s star (who was also a Laker’s teammate of Rambis) had made strong recommendations about Rambis to the respective quarters. Said Thompson, “I talked to David [Kahn] personally and told him you have to go after a guy like Rambis who knows what it takes to win in this league.”

He further stated, “He would take the job if it was offered to him. I know that. He would be a great teacher to guys like Al Jefferson and Kevin Love.”

If the deal sees the light of the day and Rambis gets to be on the side of the Wolves, it certainly will prove to be a score card for the team, one of the most sensible hires they would have indulged in since sometime. Rambis would certainly be in no hurry to prove his worth to anyone and therefore patiently invest time in resurrecting the team.
