kobeFeb 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This weekends NBA All Star Game will miss LA Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and Philadelphia 76ers’ guard Allen Iverson as they are out of the game and are being replaced with new players. The game is scheduled to be held at Dallas on this February 14th. Kobe Bryant is reported to have been out due to some ankle injury which has kept him away from the past three games as well. The Commissioner David Stern of the Lakers team has announced Jason Kidd as the new replacement. If Kidd plays the game then this will be his 10th All Star Game Appearance.

On the other part, the 76ers’ guard Allen Iverson has also moved out of the weekend game on account of some personal problem. It is reported that Iverson has opted out of the game to attend to his youngest child who has fallen sick. David Lee will be taking the position of Allen Iverson in this game and this will be his first All Star game performance. With the type of points he has build up till now, he seems to be a good player on whom much of the hope is pinned. Lee holds a score of 30 double-doubles through 51 games and has an average 20 points and 11 rebounds. Both these scores are held as impressive.

Therefore, though the two guards from the two sides are out and are being replaced at the last week, we are will get to see a game full of energy and performance due to a debut player and an ace performer who is known for his power packed deliveries.
