koaSalt Lake City, Apr 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Koa Misi of Utah was taken up by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the National Football League Draft on Friday. He is being considered to be the highest National Football League Draftee in the last 31 years, being picked up at No. 40 overall. It must be easy for him to remember that number, considering that that is exactly the number if relatives that watched the draft in Salt Lake City with him. However, what comes across as very remarkable in this drafting that while all the players show a high level of excitement on their picks, Koa Misi’s seemed to be the most genuine. So much so, that he failed to register many of the details.

For example, Koa Misi could not exactly remember who had called him to tell him that he had been drafted by the Miami Dolphins. He was certain it was one of the authorities with the team, as is the rule, but could not put a finger to the name. He guessed it was the executive vice president of the Miami Dolphins, Bill Parcells. He was obviously this excited to have entirely passed over the details.

On the other hand, the pick of Koa Misi is expected to prove a fortuitous one for the Miami Dolphins, and certainly an opportune one, considering that they are in dire need of a starter, with their star starter suspended for the first eight games of the season, and recovering from a pretty serious injury. Moreover, Koa Misi is the kind of versatile player that every team would love to have on their roster.
