Kim Hughes: New Coach Of Los Angeles Clippers

losLos Angeles, Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kim Hughes, who had served Los Angeles Clippers under Mike Dunleavy for a considerable period of time will be seen in a new role. It has been reported that he is the successor of Los Angeles Clippers head coach Mike Dunleavy, who has decided to end his tenure as the head coach of the team. As per the reports, on Wednesday, the veteran head coach of Clippers informed Kim Hughes about his decision of stepping down from the job of head coach and asked him whether he would be interested to be his replacement.

Kim Hughes, who was surprised by the sudden decision of the coach did not waste any time and readily accepted the offer of the veteran head coach. It has been reported that the decision of change in the coaching line up was mutual and is expected to be beneficial for the team. The official sources of the team indicated that even though Mike Dunleavy has decided to resign from his job of head coach, he would continue his job as the general manager of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Mike Dunleavy, who has been associated with the Los Angeles Clippers team for a considerable period of time said that he considers it to be the “ideal time” for him to focus on some other issues of the team apart from coaching. After resigning from the post of head coach, Mike Dunleavy said that he would now concentrate on the “trade market, the draft and the free-agent process” so that they can be “active and productive” on those fronts too.
