Khedira denies agreeing to deal with Real Madrid
July 19th, 2010 - 8:47 pm ICT by IANSStuttgart, July 19 (DPA) VfB Stuttgart midfielder Sami Khedira has refuted Spanish media reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
“There is no agreement with Real,” the 23-year-old told Monday’s edition of Kicker magazine. “No decision has been made about what I’m going to do.”
Khedira’s contract with Stuttgart runs until 2011 but Spanish media reported that he has agreed a contract with Real that would keep him at the Madrid club until 2015.
The Germany international admitted that he had an “honest and open discussion” with Stuttgart coach Christian Gross about his future.
“We will sit down and have further discussions when I return from my holidays,” he said.
