Los Angeles, Nov 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Minnesota Timberwolves’ Kevin Love seems to be on a roll these days. This third-year power forward delivered a spectacular performance by scoring 31-point, 31-rebound, ensuring his team’s victory against New York Knicks. He apparently made a record as the last player to have scored 30-30 night was Moses Malone in 1982.
The other person who contributed in the victory of this team was Michael Beasley, who has always been regarded as the league’s most versatile small forward player, who has the ability to shoot outside and make it to the basket. The combination of Kevin Love and Michael Beasley seems to be a very deadly alliance for the over all performance of the team. Kevin Love seemed to be very excited about his overwhelming performance and said in an interview that there is still a lot of scope for him to improve in the game. He is confident about making his own niche in the team and establish himself as a very good player. The main significance of this game was, it brought the player to earn national attention and marked a signature moment that made Kevin Love and Michael Beasley, the front-line duo. Michael Beasley’s versatility was reinstated, when only three minutes were left for the Friday’s game to get over. He passed through New York Knick’s forward, Wilson Chandler, on a baseline drive that facilitated a two-handed slam dunk. He had one overturn against New York in 40 minutes.
Michael Beasley seems to be very comfortable with his offense and said that he feels at home while doing it, as he understands the offense shots a lot better. Now all one needs to see how the duo, Kevin Love and Michael Beasley perform in this position in the upcoming games. Coach Kurt Rambis seems to be quite confident about them.
