Auburn, October 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a long period of time, the Kentucky Wildcats team had scored a victory against the Auburn Tigers. The last victory of Kentucky against Auburn came in the year 1966. Robert Cobb had played well in the match and had made the maximum contribution for the team’s winning. He had scored 4 yard run in the match when 3:17 was left for the match and gave the team their long awaited victory against Auburn. The final score of the match read 21-14 and registered the win of Kentucky.

Kentucky team had been extremely excited after defeating Auburn in the match. All the players of the team had played well to set a victory in the match. In the match, Cobb had rushed twelve times and had scored 109 yards. Derrick Locke’s performance was equally impressive in the match against Auburn Tigers. Locke had scored 137 yards and had ran nineteen times.

Auburn had played tactfully in the match. They had tried to score one more victory against the Wildcats but they did not succeed this time. Auburn Tigers from the very beginning of the game tried to dominate the Wildcats. In the halftime of the game, they had managed to score a lead. However, the Kentucky Wildcats tried and made a successful comeback in the game. Though they could not manage a lead in the first half yet they successfully set a victory at the end.

The game had been exciting throughout. Crowds had witnessed some excellent moves from players of both the team. Ben Tate played well for the Auburn but Wildcats became the winner of the match.
