Kentucky Freshman John Wall Leads His Team In Wednesday Night Game

John WallNew York, Dec 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kentucky freshman John Wall displayed a scintillating performance on Wednesday night, which enabled the Wildcats to register victory against Connecticut in the SEC/ Big East Invitational held at the Madison Square Garden. The Wildcats defeated their opponent by the score of 64-61, in which John Wall played a pivotal role to make sure that his team emerged as the ultimate winner. The 15,874 crowd that was present at the venue, hugely enjoyed the clash, as both the teams gave their best to clinch victory.

The 19 year old player managed to score an amazing 25 points and lead his team to the much anticipated victory against the fourteenth ranked Connecticut. Throughout the match, the young player showcased his control of the game and left the huge crowd present at the stadium asking for more. The University of Kentucky player also delivered a 12 points with only seven and a half minutes remaining, as well as scored a three-point play in the final moments of the game- which contributed immensely to the victory of his team.

The the 6-foot-4 guard did not miss any opportunity to score in the game, which resulted in Kentucky moving on to 9-0 with Connecticut remaining at 6-2. Moreover, with just 7:16 minutes remaining, the young player displayed a stunning performance and took control of a pass by Connecticut senior guard Jerome Dyson which resulted in the Wildcats player picking up a foul. Meanwhile, Connecticut player Jerome Dyson managed to give an impressive performance by scoring 17 point but could not save his team from their eventual second defeat at Madison Square Garden.
