Kendry Morales Brings Win For Angels, Breaks Left Leg

Anaheim, May 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Los Angeles Angels hitter Kendry Morales injured himself pretty bad after he clinched the win for his team against the Seattle Mariners. Reportedly, Kendry Morales ended up breaking his left leg as the 10th inning of the game ended. Los Angeles emerged victorious against the Seattle Mariners by a score of 5-1.
Kendry Morales jumped towards his home plate which twisted his left ankle. Following the injury, the player was taken off the ground straight to hospital where after primary observation, he was declared disabled for 15 days. Well that explains how Los Angeles Angels will have a sour victory celebration. In the words of Los Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia, this victory is important to the team but the celebration will be all devoid of fun as their best hitter lie on the hospital bed. He also said that such an incident is disturbing as this is the most bitter clubhouse experience ever witnessed after such a victory.
Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver told the media that Kendry Morales was celebrating the traditional way as one celebrates the walk-off hit when he twisted his ankle. He said that its unfortunate to witness such a thing to have happened to a player who already had a blast start in the current season. Torri Hunter said that Los Angeles Angels always suffers if they don’t have Kendry Morales for one single match. He was all in praises for his fellow star and called him to be the best hitter of the club. Kendry Morales undergoes ankle surgery on Sunday. Phil Kwong who happens to a specialist medico shall perform the surgery.
