Dec. 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kelly Pavlik, who is one of the most talented professionals boxers of present days, once again proved his worth in the heavily crowded match of Saturday night against the young boxer, Miguel Espino. The champion boxer, who is known for his extraordinary fighting stunts, successfully defended his WBO and WBC title in round five.
This is not the first time that Kelly Pavlik has defended his title. Like every time, this time too, Kelly Pavlik made no mistake in applying his strokes on his opponent and forced him to the ground. Though this time many people had the opinion that Miguel Espino would certainly be a strong underdog in the game. Many of his fans considered that he would win the match against Kelly Pavlik and grab the title from the champion boxer. However, Kelly Pavlik’s strong control over the match ruined all dreams of Miguel Espino’s fans.
According to the match reports, in round four Kelly Pavlik had knocked down the challenger a couple of times, which turned the game almost in his favor. However, Miguel Espino did not give up in the round and the game continued to the next round, when he was knocked down for the third time. Miguel Espino, who is a strong fighter, tried to make a comeback even after the third knockdown. It was his trainer who did not allow him to continue the fight. When contacted by the media after the game, the talented Miguel Espino narrated his experience of fighting against the champion player and referred to Kelly Pavlik as a ‘great champion.’
