July 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The veteran American Football linebacker Keith Bulluck has officially joined the New York Giants. Keith Bulluck’s agent Gary Wichard has informed the media that the team and Keith Bulluck came to an agreement yesterday, however he did not mention the deal that the veteran player has agreed to. A reputed news source says that the deal is for one year and New York Giants will pay him a whooping $2.5 million.
The New York Giants’ official hopes that the long experience of Keith Bulluck will help the team and after the retirement of Antonio Pierce his presence will fill in the gap that the latter has left. Reports indicate that Keith Bulluck will be given the middle linebacker job as per his own wish. The player in an interview said that he being a New York “dude” cannot play in any other position. The player also added that New York is about “toughness” and NFC East, and that is where he belongs.
Keith Bulluck, 33, was out of the field for seven months owing to his left anterior cruciate ligament surgery and the doctors said that he is recovering very fast. The veteran Keith Bulluck played 10 seasons in the NFL with Tennessee Titans and tallied 1,072 tackles, 18 sacks and 19 interceptions with the same team. It seems that the free-agent linebacker is all geared up to hit the field for the season when he says to a reputed media source that just walking the streets of New York got him charged up. The fans of Keith Bulluck, who had 108 tackles in his last season before suffering his knee injury, expects that the player will perform his best here on.
