NASCAR Atlanta Auto RacingNASCAR driver Kasey Kahne was ecstatic after he won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pep Boys Auto 500.

Kahne pointed out some good reason for his win and said, “We did it right at the end.We had an unbelievable car throughout the race. I think Kevin was the best on the long runs. We did it at the end.” Kevin Harvick ranked second, and the third position was taken by Juan Montoya.

The race could have been won by anyone and you had to keep guessing who would emerge as the ultimate winner, because in Lap 275 (Lead Change Lap) the onlookers noticed Juan Montoya passing Kasey Kahne, leaving him behind him; adding five bonus points to his credit.

Kevin Harvick stood sixth in Lap 276, and another racer David Stremme looked very promising as he geared on ferociously at the 4th position. Matt Kenseth took 7th place by this period and Kyle Busch grasped 9th and tried to keep his position. In Lap 291, things started looking very good for Harvick who passed Denny Hamlin after tackling periodic swishy driving from many other drivers on the race, but was unfortunately obstructed by water leakage from his engine overflow. In Lap 304 Kevin Harvick and Juan Montoya were side-by-side trying desperately to take the leading position, but the struggle continued, until the next Lap where Kevin prevailed in restoring his winning streak.

However, Kasey gave a surprising lead change, pushing Montoya to third position in Lap 315. The White Flag was taken by Kasey Kahne ii lap 324,when he remained only at a distance of 1.54 miles from the finish line.
