karoNov.20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) UFC welterweight Karo Parisyan is making headlines lately as the much acclaimed martial artist has withdrawn from UFC 106 and it is likely that the fighter would not be a part of the organization in future. Karo’s withdrawal comes in light as the Armenian fighter pulled out from his much anticipated clash with Dustin Hazelett on Thursday, the reason for which is still not clear.

The welterweight’s decision has surely not gone down well with Dana White, President of UFC who has revealed that Karo’s decision marks the end of his association with the organization. White also implied that it is unlikely that the fighter would be seen fighting in the UFC ever again. Reportedly, Karo was unable to provide any valid reason for his sudden withdrawal which is said to have infuriated White even more.

However, in his defense the fighter has revealed that he had no other option but to withdraw from the game as he was unable to pay fee to the tune of $32,000 with respect to his suspension after his UFC 94 fight with Dong Hyun Kim and thus he was unable to procure a Nevada fighter’s license. Although he registered a victory in the fight, the 27 year old fighter was later suspended as in the post fight drug test the fighter tested positive of banned painkillers.

However, this is not the first time that the fighter has pulled out from a clash in the last moment. Earlier, Karo had withdrawn from UFC 88 where he was scheduled to clash with Yoshiyuki Yoshida citing back injury as the primary reason.
