Kansas City Royals Replace Manager Trey Hillman

hillmanKansas City, May 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Trey Hillman’s tenure with the Kansas City Royals came to an abrupt end on Thursday when the team management decided to sack and replace him with Ned Yost, the former Milwaukee Brewers manager. However, he has not been fried out of the whole team and has been assigned some other position in the team management. However, it has not been made clear which position he has been assigned in the team.

Making the announcement on Thursday, Dayton Moore, the Kansas City Royal’s general manager who is also the vice president of the baseball team referred to Trey Hillman as an “incredible leader” who has touched the lives of the people who have been in association with the Kansas City community. However, he maintained that the replacement has been done as the team needed it. Trey Hillman said that the present condition of the team “require a change and we’re making a change immediately”. The decision was taken after the Kansas City Royals beat the Cleveland with 6-4. The win left them being the last team in the American League Central division. The team had lost seven games before the Thursday win.

Trey Hillman on his part said that he does not hold any grudges against the Kansas City Royals team that has fired him. He said that there is no “bitterness” from his side on the whole matter adding that in the baseball game sometimes the things work out and sometimes it does not. This is the first managerial firing of this season. Trey Hillman has been in the Kansas Royals for the past three seasons.
