Kalighat thrash Royal Wahingdoh in Fed Cup qualifier
September 12th, 2012 - 8:34 pm ICT by IANSJamshedpur, Sep 12 (IANS) Kalighat Footbal Club outclassed Royal Wahingdoh FC 6-0 tn the second match of the Federation Cup qualifiers here Wednesday.
The match, played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here, witnessed the Kolkata club scoring three goals in each half. Christopher Chizoba netted four times along with a goal each from James Gbilee and Tanmoy Kundu.
The qualifying round, from Sep 11 to 16, is being played amongst six teams divided into two groups.
Winners from the two groups make the final round to take place in Siliguri Sep 19 onwards.
