kakaJune 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The sending off of Brazilian star footballer Kaka in the final moments of the Ivory Coast clash on Sunday has angered fans and players alike.

Though Brazil has qualified for the second round, the red card to Kaka will prevent him from playing against the last group match against Portugal. The first yellow card was shown to Kaka with 5 minutes left in the game. The next card came within 3 minutes and Kaka had to leave the field. The first card came for a push to Yaya Toure and the second was another shove to Abdelkader Keita who exaggerated the impact and fell to the ground clutching his face.

In spite of the comfortable 3-1 victory the Brazilian fans are disappointed at the referees call. Coach Dunga has called the dismissal of his star player in the Ivory Coast match ‘totally unjustified’. Kaka was also furious and animated while walking off the field. Later he refused to comment about the red card. He said that the images are there and the crowd saw what happened and they can see the truth themselves.

Coach Dunga showed his anger by saying that Kaka was fouled but yet he was the one punished. He also said that the guy who actually fouled got away without a yellow card. He added sarcastically that he will have to congratulate him for that. About Kaka’s replacement for the next Dunga said that no decision has been made.

The Ivory Coast Coach however said that Kaka’s red card was a fair call. He said that the Brazilians should not be complaining so much as there was a hint of handball in Luis Fabiano’s second goal.
