Madrid, Dec 2 (DPA) Real Madrid playmaker Kaka might be out for up to 10 days with a groin strain, according to sports dailies AS and Marca Wednesday.
Kaka, 27, suffered the injury in Sunday’s 1-0 “Clasico” defeat away to Barcelona that knocked Real off the top of La Liga.
He did not train Monday and Tuesday and will miss Saturday’s league match at home to Almeria.
Kaka is also doubtful for the Dec 8 Champions League showdown away to Olympique Marseille. Real will qualify for the knockout stage for the 13th consecutive year if they manage to avoid losing by 3-0 or more in the Velodrome.
Kaka joined Real from AC Milan for 65 million euros ($97.83 million) in July but has struggled to find his form at the Estadio Bernabeu, scoring just one goal in La Liga.
