London, Jan.22 (ANI): An angry Brazilian striker Kaka has accused Manchester City of not having a clue” about what made him decide not to join the club.
His reaction came after City accused Kakas father of being greedy and unprofessional following the breakdown of his proposed 91-million pound world-record move from A C Milan, reports The Sun.
There was total confusion. Not one of them had a clear idea of what was going on. It took me less than 30 seconds to stay with Milan. I have taken a huge weight off my mind, Kaka said.
His agent, Diogo Kotscho, also slammed City executive chairman Garry Cook for the breakdown.
He said: We can see that he knows very little about how a football players head works. If Kaka was thinking only about money, then he would have chosen Manchester City. But there are more important things that money cannot buy. Now, we are more convinced than ever that we made the right decision.
Robinho, meanwhile, called Hughes from Brazil to say sorry for leaving the City squads training camp in Tenerife without permission.
Robinho claimed there had been a communication breakdown and he thought he had Hughess consent to return home for family reasons.
He is still likely to be asked to pay the fine of 320,000 pounds, which amounts to a fortnights wages. (ANI)
