Juwan Howard Could Not Save Portland Loss Against Cleveland

cleveland-trail-blazersCleveland, Dec. 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Friday night’s basketball match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Portland Trail Blazers warmed up the sell out crowds who had come to see the match on the wintry night. Cleveland Cavaliers played the game well and won the match against the Portland Trail Blazers who has some of the experienced players of the game. The veteran player Juwan Howard of Portland played well and recorded a score of fifteen points in the game last night. Not only Juwan Howard but also the other veteran of the team, Andre Miller played well in the match and tried to save the game. He had scored six rebounds and twenty points in the match against Cavaliers yet they could not save their team from defeat.

According to the reports, the final result of the match, 104-99, cheered up the fans of Cleveland Cavaliers as they won the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Cleveland Cavaliers who has returned two their home ground after playing a couple of road matches, took the advantage of playing in own ground and won. The second quarter of the match was thrilling enough to keep the spectators glued to their seat.

It was not possible for the defense line up of the team to restrict the strong offense of Cavaliers and Lebron James did his work nicely. He made seven assists, seven rebounds and scored 33 points that helped the team set a victory upon the Portland Trail Blazers. The performance of Anderson Varejao in the game was also equally appreciating and helped the team win the match.
