As per the latest reports, the Chicago Bears team has decided to sign Julius Peppers so that they can make their line-up stronger than their opponents. The reports that Julius Peppers is joining Chicago Bears is not only a great news for the fans of Bears but also for the people who love the talented player, Julius Peppers.
According to the reports, free agent Julius Peppers had played some outstanding games in the past and football lovers are hopeful that he would give his best when he would be on the field, donning the jersey of the Chicago Bears team. It has been reported that the authorities of the Chicago Bears, especially their coach Lovie Smith, is confident upon the skills of Julius Peppers and so the team has signed him for as long as six years.
The reports indicate that the defensive end has signed a six year deal with the Chicago Bears, which is potentially worth 91.5 million dollars. Carl Carey, the agent of the player, when contacted by the media representatives said that 42 million dollars has been guaranteed by the team. The agent also reported that Julius Peppers would earn 20 million dollars in the first year and 40.5 million dollars over the first three years term. Reports indicate that the deal is quite profitable for the talented defensive end footballer and he is expected to strengthen the defense squad of the team.
