Jordan Shipley Tries Hard But Fails To Lead His Team To Victory

shipleyPasadena, California, Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It appeared that luck did not favor the Texas Longhorns on the championship game against the Alabama Crimson Tide on last night. Their roster included some of the talented footballers but they could not defeat the Alabama Crimson Tide. Lots of hope were bestowed on Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley and it was expected that they would display some game winning strokes against Alabama. However, things did not turn as expected and Alabama won the BCS championship of this year.

Colt McCoy had to leave the field with shoulder injury and was replaced by Garrett Gilbert. He tried to fulfill the loss of the Colt McCoy and make his team victorious. When 1 minute 30 seconds was remaining in the third quarter, Garrett Gilbert made a perfect pass and gave the ball to Jordan Shipley. He rushed for 44 yards that increased the score of his team. Though Colt McCoy was not in the field, fans were happy to see that Garrett Gilbert and Jordan Shipley had a good co-ordination and encouraged the duo. Jordan Shipley and the Garrett Gilbert tried to increase the score of their team but they finally failed in front of the strong defense wall of Alabama Crimson Tide.

Jordan Shipley and Colt McCoy’s friendship is known to everyone. The wide receiver, Jordan Shipley tried to earn the victory for his team in the absence of his best friend but returned with disappointment. As per the reports, the final result of the game was tied to 37-21 and Alabama Crimson Tide claimed the BCS Championship of this year.
