Johnny Weir Shares Room With Tanith Belbin

Vancouver, Feb 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a recent development, Johnny Weir, a US figure skater has got a room at the Vancouver Winter Olympics village which he will have to share with Tanith Belbin, an ice dancer. The fact that has drawn the attention of many people is that the figure skater has got a woman for a roommate. What adds more to the drama is the fact that Tanith Belbin is the ex-girlfriend of Evan Lysacek, who incidentally is the teammate of Johnny Weir. It has been learnt that both Tanith Belbin and Johnny Weir asked for single rooms for accommodation but they could not get that. Johnny Weir said later that he would have no qualms in staying with a girl. They actually know each other and this will make things easier for them to stay in a single room.
Johnny Weir also said that he does not get along well with some members in his team but with Tanith Belbin, he would not have any such issue. As per the available reports, the lady is also ok with this arrangement. To make the room tidy for his roommate, Johnny Weir decorated it and Tanith Belbin expressed her happiness with the state of the room. He put aromatic candles and posters to make the room look decent for his roommate.
When Tanith Belbin came to know that she would have to choose between Johnny Weir and her ex-boyfriend Evan Lysacek, the choice was obvious. However, it has not been revealed how Evan Lysacek is taking this development. He has not made any comment.
