Dec 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As a part of the three team trade veteran forward Joe Smith will have to move on to the Los Angeles Lakers from the New Jersey Nets. The recent trade shift also includes the swapping of guard Sasha Vujacic from the side of the Los Angeles Lakers to the New Jersey Nets for Joe Smith. The New Jersey Nets will also be going for a deal with the Houston Rockets where they will give their forward Terrence Williams to the Rockets.

According to sources, it has come up that the deal of Sasha Vujacic for the 35 year old Joe Smith is been considered as the dumping of Sasha Vujacic who was being paid almost $5.5 million as salary by the Los Angeles Lakers. The deal of Terrence Williams has been said to give a 2012 first-round draft pick to the New Jersey Nets. On Tuesday, Terrence Williams was seen posting some of his personal thoughts on his Tweeter accounts as he went to become emotional as a result of this shuffle. Terrence Williams wrote on his account that he really wants to convey thanks to all his fans, especially his fans from the New jersey Nets camp. The player added that he was going for the Houston Rockets.

Both Joe Smith and Terrence Williams were kept away from Tuesday’ match against Philadelphia. Same was the case of Sasha Vujacic who was kept away from playing for team Los Angeles’ game in Washington. An insider revealed that the deal cannot be completed until Wednesday since Joe Smith had already signed for the New Jersey Nets as a free agent and the previous deal does not allow him to go any where else before December 15.
