California, Nov.29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) University of Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen is being seen lately sporting a black eye which resulted from a fight that he had indulged in last weekend. However, in a press conference that was held recently, the quarterback refused to comment about his condition and also declined to give any details about the incident that left him injured.
Although, the young player refused to comment anything regarding his eye condition, he has been seen wearing a viser these days in an attempt to hide the black eye. Apparently, the young quarterback has also been appearing in his practice sessions wearing the viser, which has fulled a lot of speculations. At the same time, Clausen also added that he did not want to divulge any details about the incident as it has already received a lot of attention over the week. Moreover, the player also emphasized that his eye condition was not serious enough to prevent him from giving his best shot at the game. However, this claim was substantiated as the player managed to deliver five touchdown as well as 340 yards passing in the practice session of the team.
The incident that left the player with a black eye supposedly happened last Saturday outside a South Bend restaurant when he got involved in an altercation with an irate fan. Clausen had gone to the restaurant with family and friends after his team lost to Connecticut. Reports claim that during the fight, the player was punched hard on the face by the angry fan.
