Jim Harbaugh Quits Stanford For San Francisco 49ers

images4Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Orange Bowl had reaped its fruits of labor for former Stanford Cardinal coach Jim Harbaugh. It had paved the way for Jim Harbaugh’s entry in the National Football League. It was a dream come true for Jim Harbaugh after he bagged a deal with the San Francisco 49ers for a startling $25 million. On Friday it got officially confirmed that the successful Stanford coach was joining the San Francisco team who decided to rope him in after considering his impressive coaching career.

The deal made official on Friday announced that Jim Harbaugh would continue to be the San Francisco 49ers coach for the next five years. The San Francisco 49ers were looking for a coach after they fired previous coach Mike Singletary a few days back. Jim Harbaugh who himself was a long time NFL quarterback ensured a successful career with the Cardinals and after the Cardinals ousted Virgina Tech in 2011’s Orange Bowl, speculations started surfacing that the coach had made for himself avenues open from the NFL teams. Jim Harbaugh who until now was a college football coach after bagging the lucrative prospect was seen describing the situation as a “perfect competitive opportunity” ensuring the San Francisco 49ers officials that he would give his best shot for his new team.

The day saw the former Stanford Cardinal coach making some honest confessions. He said that his goal was to achieve a Lombardi Trophy which is one of the prestigious win. After a four year old successful career with Stanford Jim Harbaugh admitted of the excitement that his new job was giving him asserting that he was ready for the challenge.
