He is very much in media glare now as the decision he took in the match between the Colts and New York Jets proved fatal and now he has to face the music for his hasty decision. Jim Caldwell’s pivotal decision to replace Peter Manning by a rookie player at a time when the fate of the match could not be surely pre-determined led to the controversy. Perhaps complacency worked for Jim Caldwell when he decided to preserve his starter player Peter Manning for the playoffs.

The defeat for the Colts was a bolt from the blue as it was almost certain that the Colts are going to add one more win in their kitty, as they played really well,to be regarded as the season’s best. The title of the anti-hero will be bestowed on Jim Caldwell was on the cards as many feel that the presence of Peter Manning on the field could have made a difference. The fans of the Colts are raging with fury as they all expected another win on the cards.

Such a whimsical decision by Jim Caldwell keeping in mind that his key player do not suffer any injury, and be all set to give his best shot in the upcoming match is regarded as a timid one, as on the field a player needs to sweat his guts out.

Jim Caldwell’s controversial decision has made the most carping critics and his fans to single him out for the defeat.

    Sounds like Meena Kar was brought up from the minors to fill in for the real reporters over Christmas.
