woody Florham Park, Jan 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) New York Jets owner Woody Johnston is coping with tragedy of his daughter Casey Johnston’s death. And at the same time, he also ought to rejoice, as his team is just a win away from the Super Bowl. To get over his daughter’s death, he goes to watch his team practice, as often as he can.

“This has been a brutal couple of weeks, personally,” Johnson said softly, with tears in his eyes. He spoke with the media on Thursday, the first time since his daughter’s death. His team has made it to the AFC championships for the first time in almost 12 years. He ought to be happy about that, but his eyes are still misty with his daughter’s loss. “I think what you do is, what I found myself doing, is it’s two different worlds. That’s the way you can handle it. One doesn’t really help the other. The other’s the reality. I mean, I lost a daughter. There’s no way to bring her back or any of that.”

It may be recalled that the daughter of the Jets owner Woody Johnson and the great-granddaughter of the founder of Johnson & Johnson, Casey Johnson died in early January. She was just 30 years old. She was found dead in her Los Angeles home. Her maidservant discovered her death. She was in a lesbian relationship with B-list reality star Tila Tequila.
