Jericho Kicked out of ‘WWE Raw’s Six Pack Challenge’!

September 7th, 2010 - 12:50 pm ICT by Angela Kaye Mason ( 1 comment )

Sep 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the night began last night on ‘WWE’s Monday Night Raw’, ‘Nexus’ came out to the ring to brag about their antics from the previous week, when they took down ‘The Undertaker’ and ‘John Cena’ in the same night. None of the audience seemed very impressed. ‘Randy Orton stepped out to remind them, “Last week I took out two of your men in less than 30 seconds,” and let the men of Nexus know that he intends to win the ‘Night of Champions’.

Just about that time, the general manager made the announcement that John Cena would wrestle Justin Gabriel, Randy Orton would battle ‘Wade Barrett’, and Nexus is banned form ringside. Next week, John Cena will face the winner of the match between Orton and Barrett on ‘Raw’.

As an added incentive, if Edge and Jericho did not win their matches last night, then they would be taken out of the Six Man Six Pack Challenge at ‘Night of Champions’. This was as a punishment for the way they abandoned their teammates against Nexus the previous week. Jericho was in a serious match with ‘John Morrison’, and was knocked out of the ‘Six Pack Challenge’ by Morrison! Jericho seemed to be a broken man.

‘Melina’ wrestled ‘Alicia Fox’ for the WWE Diva Championship, and Melina won the match rather quickly, keeping her championship. ‘Justin Gabriel’ of Nexus came out next for his match with ‘John Cena’, and put up quite a fight. Gabriel was no match for Cena, however, and was beaten by the seasoned wrestler.

‘Daniel Bryant’ came out and challenged ‘The Miz’ to a match at ‘Night of Champions’, to which Miz agreed, after much conversation, deliberation, and bragging. Edge came out next to defend his opportunity to compete in the Six Pack Challenge.

And his opponent was none other than ‘The Great Khali’. Edge managed to win by coaxing Khali out of the ring, and slipping back in just in time to beat the “count-out”. The general manager refused to acknowledge the “cheap count out victory” and restarted the match as a “No Disqualification Over the Top Rope Challenge” which means that in order to win, Edge had to throw Khali over the top rope, which he somehow managed to do. This keeps Edge in the Six Pack Challenge.

Sheamus soon came out to sit at ringside with the commentators for the next WWE Monday Night Raw match, along with Edge. Randy Orton and Wade Barrett stepped into the ring to see who would face Cena next week live on Raw. Barrett managed to make things quite tough for Orton, and the match was close at times.

Darren Young, who was thrown out of Nexus as ‘The Weakest Link’ came out and distracted Barrett, giving Orton a chance to perform his ‘RKO’. After winning the match, Orton RKO’d Young, Edge and Sheamus all three. Cena stepped into the ring, and stared into the eyes of The Viper- Randy Orton, whom he will face next week, and the show ended in a stare-down between these two men.
