p2Life has not been good for a while for this suspended NASCAR driver in context of substance abuse and matters have turned even worse for him with the NASCAR authorities asking the federal judge to restore its suspension of the driver from (NASCAR) racing. This has been done due to Mayfiled testing positive for the 2nd time for methamphetamine or commonly known meth.

In their latest filing with the federal court the NASCAR authorities had included an affidavit from the star driver’s step mom Lisa. In this affidavit Lisa Mayfield has claimed that she has known that Jeremey has been doing substance abuse from 1998 and she has even gone onto say that Jeremy even “cooked some of his own” meth before he bought it. In the same document she has also claimed that she once saw Jeremy using methamphetamine, shockingly on a race weekend!

Jeremy Mayfield who was born in 1969 has been a famous NASCAR driver and owner of his own team which goes by the name “Mayfield Motorsports”. “All Sports”, a company which produces sports drink has been the sponsor of his team. Life was good for this star owner and driver until recently when NASCAR authorities had suspended him as a driver and also as a team owner, after he tested positive for methamphetamine. The suspension was applicable from May 9 to July 1 this year. But NASCAR authorities are now alleging that the driver had failed for a 2nd random test on the 6th of this month and therefore this appeal on their part to renew his suspension.

Jeremy on his part has been quoted in media saying, “I don’t trust anything NASCAR does, anything Dr. David Blake does, never have, never will.” In context of his stepmother Lisa’s statements on his history of substance abuse, Jeremy has said, “…they picked the wrong woman to use against me because that [allegations] is trash and has got nothing on me but lies.”
