Jeremiah Masoli Suspended For One Year

cd2Oregon, March 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Friday the Oregon Ducks’ coach Chip Kelly announced at a press conference that the quarterback player of the team Jeremiah Masoli has been suspended for the entire 2010 session. The suspension notice comes after the quarterback player pleaded guilty of second degree burglary. On Friday Chip Kelly also announced the suspension of two more players for one game each. LaMichael James and Kicker Rob Beard pleaded guilty to the harassment charges that were brought against them in two different incidents. According to reports, both the players will be kept under probation for the next 24 months.

According to reports, on Friday the announcement was made after Jeremiah Masoli made the court appearance. The player was found guilty of stealing two laptops and one guitar from the campus circle. According to reports another player, Garrett Embry, was involved in the crime. The two stole the items on January this year. However the team’s take on Garrett Embry has not yet been made public.

The coach of the team, Chip Kelly announced on Friday that Jeremiah Masoli will be kept under probation for 12 months. The player can in that period avail the red shirt privilege though. After serving the term Jeremiah Masoli can return to the team, as reported by the coach. Jeremiah Masoli has played a crucial part in the Oregon Ducks team’s performance in the recent games and has been in form for some time now. The player was seen leading the team in Rose Bowl where he had 15 touchdowns to his credit while running for 668 and also threw for 2,147 years.
