Nov. 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jeremiah Masoli of the Oregons, led the team to a blazing 47-20 victory against USC. The quarterback seemed to get better and better as the game went on. He kept the Trojans guessing about his next line of attack, as he kept making completely unexpected moves, quite contrary to what is generally expected. His performance did not only leave the California Trojans flabbergasted and constantly on their toes, it also put their position as the undefeated kings of Pac-10 for the last seven years in serious jeopardy. Their loss against the Oregons was possibly their worst defeat in the last decade.

Masoli’s performance was out of the ordinary in Saturday’s match. His moves were smooth and unexpected, and if he continues to play in this form for the rest of the season, the California Trojans will have to fight harder than usual to retain their crown. He completed 19 of the total of 31 passes in the match. He achieved this feat for 221 yards. He also threw in a touchdown for good measure. He scored a touchdown in only thirteen carries, along with a rush of 164 yards. His 58 yard run, put Oregon in the lead of 24-17.

The best part of his game was, however, the fact that he made moves that the Trojans weren’t expecting. He made quick passes towards the outside, whenever the Trojans tried to crowd the line. He lulled the Trojans into making quick passes, and then countered their moves. His performance stood out in a hoard of other brilliant performances, easily making him the star of the match. After the match, he was on top of the world about his team’s performance. He admitted that nothing said about Oregon’s performance on Saturday could be considered enough.
