jer Jeremiah Taeatafa Masoli is reportedly dismissed from his team Oregon Ducks after he was arrested for marijuana possession. Last Wednesday the coach Chip Kelly cited the reason as his “failure to adhere to obligations”.

The incident happened last Monday when a police officer arrested him at Springfield for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana. He was found with a suspended license as well. The police also cited the reason as his failure to stop at a driveway or a sidewalk. After two days, his team Oregon dismissed him.

Jeremiah Masoli, was under suspension for the whole 2010 for his involvement in burglarizing the Sigma Alpha Epsilson fraternity house west of the UO campus in January. This time it was his second arrest. Though none of the arrest actually led to a jail time for the player, it certainly will cost him his career.

Jeremiah Taeatafa Masoli was born on August 24, 1988 in San Francisco, California. In 2008 he started playing for Oregon Ducks. Jeremiah Masoli’s has a record of 714 rushing yards for Oregon quarterbacks.

In 2008 Holiday Bowl, he played commendably well and led his team to victory of 42-31. He appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated August 2009 issue with Jordan Holmes. He was nominated for awards due to his good performance.

As per reports, it is found that the coach Chip Kelly has said that he and the team had plans for Jeremiah Masoli to follow but he did not adhere to the rules so he is gone from the team.

This news might have come to Jeremiah Masoli as a bolt from the blue as his potential and his performance in his games seemed to have gone in waste for Oregon Ducks because of his criminal offense.
