Jenson Button, Jessica Michibata compete in Hawaii triathlon
April 5th, 2011 - 6:16 pm ICT by ANILondon, Apr 5 (ANI): Formula One driver Jenson Button and his model girlfriend Jessica Michibata were spotted taking part in a triathlon in Hawaii.
Button, 31, managed to come an impressive ninth out of 1100 men, while lingerie model Michibata, 26, who’s been dating Button for two years, was thrilled to finish in under three hours.
“Oh I just got my result! It’s just under 3 hours!!! 2 hours 59 mins 18 secs!!!” the Daily Mail quoted her as writing on her official Twitter page.
Button and Michibata were later seen splashing around in the surf together to cool down.
The Lavaman Triathalon at the Waikoloa resort on Big Island saw competitors complete a 1.5K swim, 40k bike race and a 10k run in a huge test of endurance in tropical temperatures.
It’s been hailed as one of the 100 best courses in the world by Triathlete magazine. (ANI)
