Jemima Khan says her sons would support Pakistan over England
May 31st, 2010 - 3:12 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 31 (ANI): Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s ex-wife Jemima Khan says her sons would fail Lord Tebbit’s ‘cricket test’ for they would always support Pakistan against England on the pitch.
Lord Norman Beresford Tebbit notoriously suggested British Asian’s support of a cricket team was a measure of their loyalty to England.
But Jemima is least bothered as she admits her boys Sulaiman, 13, and Qusim, 11, would always favour Pakistan’s cricket team.
“I’m not that worried,” the Telegraph quoted her, as saying.
“Norman would forcibly repatriate Santa Claus to Lapland,” Jemima added. (ANI)
